Parody of Politics in Ghana and the funny cycle of the ordinary Ghanaian-A Summary

1. A political officer is arrested, accused of stealing public funds while in office 2. Party supporters gather to demand his release arguing he is innocent and only being arrested because he belongs to the other party. 3. He is released and there is massive jubilation and dance 4. The rains come and floods the whole city, properties are lost, people die, houses are submerged in water. Why? 5. Because money for infrastructure development was stolen by a few political leaders. 6. The people go home after the jubilation and party, and wonder why the country is not developing. 7. They get angry, blame and curse the government of the day and vow to vote them out. 8. Election year comes. The government of the day is voted out. 9. They start arresting former political officers for stealing monies meant for national development. 10. Party members rise up and call for their release and accuse the government again for political witch hunting. 11.The cycle continues. Some of us watch from afar, smile, shake our heads and move on
